Worldwide Vintage Autos is pleased to present this Early 1966 Ford Bronco. HISTORY The original Bronco was an ORV (Off-Road Vehicle), intended to compete primarily with Jeep CJ models and the International Harvester Scout. The Bronco's small size riding on a 92-inch (2,337 mm) wheelbase made it maneuverable for some uses, but impractical as a tow vehicle. The Bronco was Ford's first compact SUV. The idea behind the Bronco began with Ford product manager Donald N. Frey, who also conceived the Ford Mustang; and similarly, Lee Iacocca pushed the idea through into production. In many ways, the Bronco was a more original concept than the Mustang; whereas the Mustang was based upon the Ford Falcon, the Bronco had a frame, suspension, and a body that were not shared with any other vehicle. INTERIOR -Black cloth buckets with green piping. -Uncut Dash. -3-speed on the column. MECHANICAL -302 V8 with 350 miles on the rebuild according to the previous owner. -3-Speed Manual transmission. -4x4. -M/T Valve Covers. -Coil over suspension. -Lifted. The cost of parts and restoration of these vehicles are increasing daily. They are not making any more and, therefore, they are becoming more rare by the day. Collectible vintage vehicles have historically appreciated at a rate greater than that stock market, gold and other arts and collectibles as documented by many articles and auction result tracking. Selling my 1970 bronco sport. History: the bronco was originally sold from hoverford in denver, colorado which is no longer in business (dealer placard on thetailgate still). It was stored for some time and had boxes on the hood, which iswhere the patina on the hood comes from. The daughter of the original ownerbrought it down to texas and i bought it from her in 2009. I then brought thebronco out to san diego, ca for a number of years and then brought it back totexas in 2013 when we moved to houston. The bronco has never been repainted, hasgreat patina, has always been stored in a garage, has very minimal rust, has theuncut rear fender, and has been driven frequently during my ownership. I boughtit with 70,000 miles and it now has 85,000 miles. The patina is great on thebronco. It still has the original vin tag in the glove box and drivers doorjamb, it has the yellow ford stamped "ok" marking on the valve covers as well asa few other places. I have done extensive maintenance while i've had it aswell as some tasteful & functional upgrades. Below are things i've added orreplaced as maintenance. Some highlights are: front disk brake conversion, addedpower steering, added a family style roll cage with shoulder seatbelts andnew/safer seats. I replaced the factory suspension with a new 3. 5" suspensionkit that has an 11 pack deaver leaf spring set in the rear, james duff radiusarms, and bilstein 7100 shocks up front. I also converted it to a 4 barrel.

The 1978 and 1979 broncos also merged the rear glass hatch and tailgate of its predecessor into a single unit that allowed the rear glass panel to retract completely into the tailgate by use of an electric motor controlled by a key-operated switch on the tailgate's outside or a dash-mounted control switch. This did cause problems for some customers, as the weight of the glass panel often overheated the motor, sometimes subjecting it to failure. Customers also complained that the retractable glass panel allowed water to get inside and caused the tailgate to rust prematurely from the bottom up. Nonetheless, this design prevailed until the bronco's end in 1996. 1979 models saw the addition of acatalytic converter, and other various emissions control equipment. Interior -clean original interior. -original bucket seats. -matching rear bench seat. -brand new passenger area carpet. Mechanical -factory351 motor. -c6 automatic transmission. -power steering. -power brakes (disc up front). -intact, converted (r134a) ac. -edelbrock 4 barrel carburetor. -headers & dual exhaust. 1974 ford bronco - denver, coworld wide vintage autosdenver, co 80205ph: 8774221570web: n/aoptions:description:worldwide vintage autos is pleased to offer this one of a kind 1974 ford bronco complete with a 351 v8 engine. Too many extras to list! History by 1974, the larger and more comfortable vehicles such as the jeep cherokee (sj) made more sense for the average driver than the more rustically oriented bronco. The low sales of the bronco (230,800 over twelve years) did not allow a large budget for upgrades, and it remained basically unchanged until the advent of the larger, more blazer-like second generation-bronco in 1978. Production of the original model fell (14,546 units) in its last year, 1977. Full black soft top. -super swamper tsl-sx 36/12. 50r15 tires with full size spare. -vsx 9,500lb capacity winch. -heavy duty bumpers.
