I bought the gen 3 set of tires a few months ago & haveless than 100 miles on them. 1999 is the most desirable year of the gen 2 viper. It's the only year that had the forged engine, lumpy 708 cam, and theupgraded interior & wheels. Red, silver & black were the 3 color options in1999. So this car being a 99' black, with the rare cognac interior, isprobably the most desireable rt/10 year/color combination. The car is in greatshape & everything works as it should. It has the usual scratches underneath thefront bumper & a few minor scratches elsewhere. Comes with both factory tops; atarga style hard top & the soft top, which fits in the trunk. The car is mostlystock except the sound system, & the aluminum power steering pulley & bracket. The spoiler is removable without any holes in the trunk lid. & i have the stockpolished 18 inch wheels & tires.

History for 1999, dodge introduced the first acr package. For this package the air intake was redone, the a/c and radio were deleted, and the suspension was swapped out for adjustable shocks. It is noted that most of the acrs had the a/c and radio installed for additional costs. The viper base package received 18 inch wheels, power side mirrors and a handful of other interior upgrades. Forged steel connecting rods go in, along with forged aluminum pistons; the whole assembly is then balanced and blueprinted. The hennessey cylinder heads are ported, polished, extrudehoned, and pack bigger stainless steel valves and seats, new guides, double springs, and titanium retainers. A hennessey camshaft bumps the valves open. With the compression ratio set at 10. 5:1, the 650r runs on unleaded premium fuel. On the intake side, a competition airbox feeds 70-millimeter billet throttle bodies and a port-matched intake manifold. History the viper srt-10 coupe was introduced at the 2005 detroit auto show as a 2006 model. It shares many of its body panels with the convertible, but takes its side and rear styling from the competition coupe. The coupe looks much like the previous viper gts and retains the "double-bubble" roof shape of the original along with the original gts's tail lights, as well as offering the original gts blue with white stripes paint scheme on the initial run of first edition cars like the original viper coupe.
